DIVISION TWO
Rotherham Town B 84 for 3

Maltby 83

AT CLIFTON Lane Rotherham Town B completed their task by beating Maltby, only to find that victories by Elsecar and Bradfield had denied them promotion.

Maltby could only compile 83 all out, with Jonathan
Poynter contributing most with 42. Edward Moss-Jones took 4 for 27 and David Mace 3 for 34 for Rotherham.

Nick Brier (27) and Jonathan Allan (28) almost completed the victory with a first wicket partnership of 64.

Rotherham completed the victory with three wickets and 23.4 overs used.

DIVISION THREE

Aston Hall B 64

Whitley Hall B 68 for 1

WHITLEY Hall B occupy the third promotion place in Division Three after a nine-wicket win over Aston Hall B.

Paul Chatterton took a sensational 7 for 10 in eight overs and reduced Aston to 64 all out.

Mark Hope smashed 50 not out in Whitley’s reply of 68 for 1.

DIVISION 5

Maltby B 132

Dearne B 90

IN THE final game at Muglet Lane Maltby B scored 132 against Dearne B.

Harry Graham reached 46 and Keith Twiss 26 for Maltby. Lee Gillis took 6 for 18 and Callum Millward 3 for 41 for Dearne.

The visitors could only score 90 in their reply. Nick Petty scored 31 for Dearne.

Maltby shared the wickets with most bowlers proving economical – Liam Woodward bagged 3 for 10, Jordan Beighton and Johnny Duffield snared two wickets each, and 14-year-old Naomi Twiss took one for 7 in her debut.
