A BRAVE Wales student is getting set to take the leap of her life with a skydive for a children's charity.
Toni Lemm, 20, will be taking to the skies over Nottingham in the jump tomorrow at the Langar airfield.

The dentistry student at Sheffield University is taking the event in her stride but says the nerves might kick in when she steps on the plane.

"I first heard that a skydive was taking place on the radio and decided 'I want to do that'," she said.

"I've never done anything like it before but I'm hoping to raise £400 for the Hallam FM charity, Cash for Kids."

Her mum Jane Leman, of Church Street, is anxious about Toni's big day but is proud to see her doing something for a good cause.

"I will actually be on holiday when she makes the jump but I'll certainly be thinking of her," she said.

To learn more about her fundraising and to sponsor Toni, you can visit her website at www.bmycharity.com/tonilemm.
