Vicar in court over child porn charges
A LETWELL vicar charged with making and possessing images relating to child pornography appeared in court on Tuesday.
Rev Adrian Fereday, 50, a father of two, stood accused of 16 counts of making and one of possessing indecent photographs.
Fereday, who gave Keary Street, Stoke-on-Trent as his address, is the vicar for Woodsetts, Firbeck and Letwell and is currently suspended by the Diocese of Sheffield.
Fereday did not enter a plea and was granted conditional bail. He was told to return to Rotherham Magistrates Court on Wednesday 2nd July for committal.
