IF YOU never thought you would miss Madness half as much as you do, a new musical is here to help out.
The first UK tour of the Olivier award-winning musical Our House hits Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre on Tuesday 23rd September for a five-day run.

X-Factor winner Steve Brookstein makes his stage debut, playing Dad. After scooping two-thirds of the final vote when the ITV show launched in 2004, his album Heart and Soul sold 250,000 copies, and he hit the number one spot with single Against All Odds.

Gwyneth Strong, who plays Cathy Casey, is best known as Cassandra from Only Fools and Horses.

Written by Tim Firth – who also penned Calendar Girls – Our House is being staged by the entire original West End creative team, and choreographed by Peter Darling, who also sorted the moves for Billy Elliot.

It is a touching tale of love and heartbreak, with a heavy dose of comedy and dance. And Baggy Trousers, House of Fun, It Must Be Love, and the rest of the London band’s canon feature.

The West End production of Our House opened in autumn 2002. It won the 2003 Olivier Award for best new musical.

Its Sheffield stint runs from Tuesday 23rd to Saturday 27th September, with performances at 7.30pm from Tuesday to Thursday, 8.30pm on Friday and 7.30pm on Saturday. Matinee performances run at 5pm on Friday and 2.30pm on Saturday.

Tickets for the show are priced £14.50-£28.50, concessions available, and can be purchased by visiting www.sheffieldtheatres.co.uk or by caling 0114 249 6000.

The Guide has teamed up with Sheffield Lyceum to offer one lucky family the chance to see the Tuesday production at 7.30pm for free.

To be in with a chance of winning, simply answer the following question.
