WIN £200 experience at Clumber Park Spa

AFTER spending a day at Clumber Park's New Leaf Spa, I left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and revitalised.
The spa sits next to Clumber Park Hotel, in the heart of the National Trust park which spans 4,000 acres.
The facility boasts a fully equipped gym, a 12 metre indoor swimming pool, a whirlpool, a steam room and sauna, as well as an outdoor hot tub.
I took my lucky husband along with me one lazy Sunday. Our first port of call was the swimming pool. Then to the sauna and steam room – perfect for clearing out all the toxins before chilling in the whirlpool.
I could not resist the outdoor hot tub which is situated through double glass doors, and is set in a decked woodland area.
After a suitable time relaxing in our robes, we decided to treat ourselves to a muscle massage. There are several to choose from, and while my cricketer husband chose the deep sports massage, I opted for a more soothing soft massage.
The friendly masseuse used relaxing lavender oil to soothe away my aches, pains and stresses. Surrounded by a deep plum and purple decor, complete with flickering candle light and soft music, the experience was pure heaven.
After the massage, it was time for a light lunch. While you don’t expect a salad to fill you with glee, the chicken box my husband and I ordered was a sight to behold.
With several different compartments, the square wooden box was filled with a host of healthy but tasty options, including succulent white chicken breast, salad, Asian coleslaw, feta cheese and melon, couscous and poppy seed dressing.
A dessert was also included, which was a rich and varied exotic fruit cocktail, drizzled with natural yoghurt, honey and crumbly biscuit pieces. I was quite surprised by how tasty and satisfying the food was, whilst remaining a healthy choice.
I have visited many spas in the past, and while New Leaf Spa may not compare to the sheer scale of places like Thoresby Hall, we are lucky to have such a fine facility located so close to Worksop.
And The Guide has teamed up with Clumber Park’s New Leaf Spa to offer one lucky reader and a guest a Day for All Seasons package worth £198 in total.
The winners will have full use of the spa facilities for the day, a light lunch, an Elemis deep tissue massage and taster facial, plus a mini manicure and pedicure.
