THIS week Kerry took a friend along for a bit of mutual support as she joined the gym:
"I finally started at Pace gym this week. I took my friend Sarah along for moral support, and the staff were welcoming and very friendly."

"It being our first visit, we were shown around and had a taster session of all the equipment we would be using."

"I must say I surprised myself with my enthusiasm and didn't give up for the whole hour pushing myself like never before. By the time we had finished we were red faced, sweating and exhausted!"

"We went again on Tuesday straight from work and both went round with Faye who worked out our fitness programmes."

"The next day I could tell I had been using muscles that I had never used before because I ached. But it was a good ache if there ever could be one!"

"To summarise, I am very pleased with my progress. At the end of Week Five I have lost a total of 8 1/2lb, and more importantly gone down a dress size. So it is all moving in the right direction."
